Infinity edge swimming pools

Infinity edge swimming pools  – also known as zero edge pools – have one or more edges over which the water cascades. That creates the illusion that the infinity pool has no end and continues into the horizon. 

In order to create the infinity illusion, one of the pool edge sections overflows into a lower catch basin, from which the water is pumped back into the upper pool to create the continuous overflow.

An infinity edge is lower than the other sides of the swimming pool to allow water to flow over into the lower catchment basin.
